Somewhere Between Piety and Desire is an exhibition of large-scale paintings on paper by artist Cornelia White Swann. With colorful, fluid paint mixed with angular shapes, the artist explores ideas of landscape, dissonance and harmony. Swann’s work is inspired by convergences and the nuances that lie in between.
Cornelia White Swann, 35, is an MFA candidate at UT San Antonio and received her BFA in painting at UT Austin.
