La galleria A arte Studio Invernizzi inaugura martedì 20 settembre 2011 alle ore 18.30 una mostra personale di Niele Toroni in cui vengono presentati lavori su tela, tela cerata, carta, cartone e 5 interventi a muro. Niele Toroni, nato a Muralto nel 1937, risiede a Parigi dal 1959 e “dal 1967 lavora dando corpo al medesimo procedere operativo: il suo metodo prevede la successione di impronte di pennello n. 50, tracciate a 30 cm di distanza l’una dall’altra, che percorrono superfici diverse ... ciascuna delle quali diventa luogo di epifania - transitoria quanto concreta, temporanea quanto assertiva - di un divenire e di una metamorfosi incessante del suo fare nel tempo. Talvolta le impronte trascorrono dall’una all’altra superficie, in un "continuum" che rende ancora più presente questa concretezza della diversità, le cui possibilità non si esauriscono nella singolarità e individualità dell’opera, ma nel modificarsi inesausto delle risultanti possibili del suo empirico realizzarsi e distendersi.” (Francesca Pola) “Il suo creare è infatti espressione di puro sentire, aìsthesis nella sua più assoluta purezza alieno da contaminazioni storiche e culturali pur nella consapevolezza di non poterne recidere i fili. Da qui l’innegabile sua antesignana impreteribile radicalità nel produrre impronte di coloriluce e opere le une e le altre sempre differenti per la diversità di atomi-molecole di spaziotempo che concretamente le costituiscono oggettivamente e soggettivamente. Da qui pure la loro bellezza per l’esteriore armonia di coloriluce, ma soprattutto per l’originarietà che noeticamente le individua, donde il coinvolgimento del sentire di quanti, percependosi nell’infondo senza fondo dei loro meandri invisibili e di quelli della propria stessa anima, affascinati s’inebriano agli angoscianti ululi inudibili degli strangoli d’anniento del proprio stesso diveniente spaziotempo tra il nascere e il morire”. On Tuesday 20 September 2011 at 6.30 pm, A arte Studio Invernizzi will be opening a solo exhibition of works by Niele Toroni, with paintings on canvas, oilcloth, paper, cardboard and 5 works on wall. Born in Muralto in 1937, Niele Toroni has lived in Paris since 1959 and “since 1967 he has worked on giving concrete shape to the same operative process: his method consists of a series of strokes using a no. 50 brush. These are traced out 30 cm apart, running across a variety of surfaces (...), each of which becomes a place of epiphany that is as fleeting as it is concrete, as temporary as it is assertive. A place of transformation and of incessant metamorphosis of action in time. At times the impressions run from one surface to another in a succession that gives even greater substantiality to this diversity, the potential of which is not exhausted in the singularity and individuality of the work, but in the never-ending adaptation of the possible consequences of its empirical generation and unfolding.” (Francesca Pola) “His creative action is indeed an expression of pure feeling, “aìsthesis”, in its highest, purest form, devoid of any historic or cultural contamination, even though he is fully aware that those threads cannot be severed. It is here that we find his pioneering, uneschewable radicalism in the creation of impressions of colourlight and works that are always different one from the other in their atom-molecules of spacetime that tangibly constitute them objectively and subjectively. And here too we find their beauty in the exterior harmony of colourlight, but especially in the originality that noetically connotes them. It is this that captures the feelings of those who, sensing themselves in the endless depths of their invisible meanders and in those of their own souls, are fascinated and inebriated by the harrowing, inaudible howls of the annihilatory chokings of their own evolving spacetime between birth and death.” (Carlo Invernizzi)
A bilingual catalogue with an introductory essay by Francesca Pola, a text by Carlo Invernizzi, and illustrations of the works on show will be published for the exhibition.
