I have been using a broad range of materials and techniques, including photography, dance, costume and plants in an effort to explore the boundaries between self and others. Self was always a part of the familial history.

The layers of cloths represent the aging skin, which symbolizes the bodies of my ancestors; of female and male. The bindings show the connections with healing and violating the memories of the self.

In my installation works, I used herbs like rosemary, cinnamon and tea. I made photographs of body in herb infused water.I believed that I could experience a distant land while I walked on the herbs. I was exploring the purity of hidden experience of the self.
