Anthony DiPaola

Born in New York, Anthony DiPaola earned his Bachelors of Fine Art degree in painting from the School of the Visual Arts and his Masters of Fine Art degree in drawing and painting from Arizona State University. Anthony continued his studies in the Philosophy of Art earning a M.Phil. in 2008 at the State University of New York, Stony Brook.

Teaching and academic research in art and philosophy have consistently served as an important part of his practice. Anthony has held faculty positions at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, New School University, Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology.




He has exhibited his paintings internationally in solo exhibitions at galleries in New York, Arizona, Washington DC, Bochum, and Kassel, Germany.

Anthony currently teaches workshops at the Kunstmuseum Bonn, Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland and the Atelier für Bildende Kunst at the Universität Bonn. He has been living in Bonn Germany with his wife Kathrin and two children since 2011.
